Heading up to 100 mile house this weekend with my two boys(7 and 9) just wondering if anyone could point us in the right direction of some good grouse/deer hunting in and around the 100 mile area. It would be much appreciated.

Haven't seen a deer since I moved up here about five years ago 
, best to head out to the okanagan...awesome hunting out that way from what I hear.
Seriously though,you have as good a chance as anyone by just picking a haul road in the dry-belt and putting along.
I hate to say it but you won't get much help from locals. Ever since they ####ed with the regs and went 4 point only in Sept. every one and their dog is out thanksgiving weekend. Lots of rural-poor folks in the area just trying to fill the freezer amongst all the out of town people. When I see the bucks early in the morning they are usually just steaming with sweat, they're constantly on the run this time of year.
