Any good shooting instructors in the Vancouver area?

If I'm off I might come over for dinner with you guys on the island or something.

The best part was when you were putting it on and complaining that it kept riding up, and one of the CO guys said, "you need to get a V-taper to fix that."

"What's that?" you asked, thinking it was an accessory of some kind.

"That's when your torso tapers in instead of out at the bottom."

Phenomenal turn out tonight. 17 people on the line, plus 3 went outside to do their own thing. Glad to see our new guys getting the hang of it. Funny how important that front sight is eh?
 
I'm a teacher so I know the value of good instruction (and how to spot it). I really can't believe my good fortune in stumbling on S&D right out of the gate. Regardless of how much progress I make in the short term I know I'll be getting fundamentals that I can work on as long as I continue shooting. :dancingbanana:
 
This is good to know...I will probably try to take in some of this instruction, as my revolving work schedule permits, but I wonder, as a newb with a new M&P 9 Range Kit, which ammo should I begin with? (quite the choices out there) I speculate that the 115 gr FMJ would be the best choice, but which brand, and where would be the best (cheapest) places to purchase it?

Ammo selection is best determined by your budget. I do ask that no MFS or other steel ammo be used during S&D.
