Hi does anyone know how much these are worth by chance?

The 49 is in the birch stock, no spike bayonette.

The laminated is an izzy.

That's basically all I know about them unfortunetly.

Realistically around $180 for the 54,maybe $200 for the 49.
They ate SKS's there is no shortage of SKS rifles,Cabelas in North Edmonton had some 49's that were going for $170 when it opened.

Cabelas likely didn't know what they had if they were selling 49' marked SKS at $170. And I would be very surprised if they had more than a handful, considering even the importer of them (Westrifle) doesnt get them in by the loads.

As a matter of fact, with everything in the Ukraine that's been going on, and the "anticipated" drought that Westrifle was telling us about since the lack of importation; Im not surprised Westrifle doesnt even have any 49's on their website listed currently.

Izzys go for $250-$300 depending on the buyer and how bad they want one to pay the premium.
$400-$500 for the 49', again, dependant on buyer and how bad they want one... Tons of guys looking to complete their collection and just missing that elusive 49' that will pay top dollar.

Even if the 49 doesn't have the spike bayonet? The receivers match the stocks and the mag housings but the gas tube is vibra etched on both?

Refurbished I would guess?

The laminates will most of the time have matching stocked numbers, because they just stamped them as they put them on. The hardwoods without ###s over the serial are a but more sought after.

As far as etching on the gas tube, that is common from factory as stamping it would be too difficult for that piece. You will also find the etching on your piston and bolt as well.

I would have to think somewhere in between SVT1940, and DJ around that $300 mark for the 1949 without seeing it. As far as I can see from the included pictures the only 1949 characteristic is the receiver cover. Is the stock and original thinner profile 1949 equipped to take the spike bayo even if it does not have the spike bayo on it ? Also, does it have the 90 degree gas tube? Even if these features have been changed over, if all other numbers match it should bring about $300, if it was a numbers matching 1949 the 450+ .

The 1954 Izzy is nice but it is refurbished as the <> mark and the stock indicate so probably about the $250 mark.

The 1949's have been approximated in the number of about 40,000 total made. Therefor more valuable in the eye's of some. In the Good ol US of A prices have brought 1-2000 for a 1949 wearing a proper spike bayo and other distinct 1949 SKS parts.

a 1949 with spike, all numbers matching, with a proper '49 slim forend replacement stock is about $450-500.
a 1949 with blade, all numbers matching, with just a replacement stock is about $375-400.

Another valuable SKS, with relatively few made, are the non-refurbished 1953 Izhevsk's.
Expect to pay $350+ depending on condition.

Well, here I have been thinking of selling my brand new Yugo, 59/66 and folks are saying they will not give me $750!! Turns out I should be selling my 49! Heck, mine has the bayo and all! If I could get $450. she is out the door!!:0) Never thought they would bring that much!
