Any idea where to find a Berthier m16 front band ?

Bought a nice all matching Berthier m16 carbine only thing it's missing is the front barrel band, any idea where I might find one ? Already looked on numrich, libertytreecollectors and a few others but they're all sold out.

eBay perhaps ? Only tricky thing is most collectors in the US wont entertain a sale to Canada, even if the part is allowed. It took me a while to find a band for my 1890 Berthier so good luck in your search.
 
Ebay isnt a bad idea, i'll check there once in a while in case one pops up !
Liberty tree does ship that kind of parts to Canada, but they don't have the one i want in stock sadly enough.
 
I forgot to mention this business: AAS Sniper 98 (Link here). They are in France and I have bought numerous and hard to find parts from them. The Euro conversion makes it more expensive but they ship, even during the covid crisis. The link above is to the Berthier 1892 parts as I didn't see a front band listed on the M16 page but rather one on the 1892 page.

Another good place for french parts is Naturabuy. Most sellers will ship parts deemed unregulated abroad as well. I ordered some new rear sight leaves for my MAS 36 from there, parts that are essentially unobtainable in North America.
 
Try ebay as Liberty tree is sold out of the one you need..

I've had Liberty Tree ship to Canada on multiple occasions, so as long as it isn't receivers, barrels or bolts, you should be fine.
