You're info is outdated. M203 launchers are classified as restricted firearms due to barrel length. They were re-classed when the RCMP decided they can shoot faster than 500 fps if you use a sub-cal adapter. Wouldn't that make the sub-cal adapter the firearm? Quiet citizen, do not question our authority!

37mm launchers are still uncontrolled.
