Years ago I almost bought a Feather AT9. Purchased a Mini-UZI carbine instead.
The Mini-Uzi Carbine was non-restricted when I purchased it.
Ironically, the AT9 was straight prohibited, while the Mini-UZI was prohibited with grandfathering.
(So I was able to keep the Mini-Uzi).
When the CFO's office stopped issuing range transport permits for prohibited w/grandfathering long guns,
I managed to sell the Mini-Uzi Carbine to a Canadian movie prop house for most of the original purchase price.
(Great deal in a "soft" sellers market).
I learned later it was part of the firearm props used in the movie "Mindstorm". I bought the title on DVD, closing the circle.
