Any info on tikka 6.5x55

Would anybody know if Stoeger imported the Tikka T3 Varmint model with the blued barrel and receiver?
I've been looking for one in 6.5 swede for some time now and only the stainless steel models keep coming up... any idea

I do not know, what is your need for the blued? Stealth or price point? If I were in your shoes and were looking for a stealthy look I would consider having the SS coated, teflon or otherwise. If price point then I guess this doesn't help at all...

This is why I paid the extra for the SS, not because I wanted or needed SS but because I wanted a rifle to shoot.

ouch! that's alot of $$, I went for the regular varmint as I couldn't justify the $$ for the super... from which I could only see an integrated pic rail and adjustible cheek rest

That's pretty quick compared to the wait here. My Battue just came in,I ordered it last August.

I was under the impression that stainless steel was softer and besides I find blued steel looks nicer and way way cheaper
