I was taking pictures for an estate, and the reg certificate lists this as an 'unknown' manufacture... but the side of the barrel seems to read KEHOREK (makes little sense, but it's definitely 6 characters) Lethbridge, Alta. Canada. This is in the picture, but it's a very small print and becomes invisible when uploaded.

Trying to establish value. Will most likely be for sale in the next year.

Thanks! Definitely a Stevens, minor variations in grip, trigger guard and front sight are all moot.

I should have said it reads like KEHOREK CO, so I thought it's a company name of the manufacturer, but it's entirely possible it's the name of the merchant that sold it?

It is very reminiscent of a Stevens and I tend to think it might be one of the German copies marketed by Hy Hunter Inc back in the 60's. I seem to recall the trade name "Favorite" as a further marketing association with the Stevens brand recognition.

I also think that it is one of the modern copies of a Stevens.

I think Tazzy is on the right track as well, Tiriaq. Hawes came along after Hy Hunter and carried some of the same line of German copies, some of which were made by Rohm. Other importers might have carried them also. A lined barrel and die cast chrome plated frame would be a dead giveaway.
The Stevens hammers have graceful shapes, which the subject pistol does not. This piece might have some value as a novelty shooter, but it can't command a Stevens price.
