Any input on the North American Hunting Club?

I received all their crap in the mail to. I have never ordered ANYTHING through the mail. I'm thinking it's the registry that's selling info. By the way what is OFAH?
 
Have you entered a contest, you know, put your info on a piece of paper and stuff it in a box to win a truck or TV or something? Lots of times this info is sold as well.

Do what I do.
Whenever I enter a contest, or have a subscription, or order something online or through catalog: I change one particular letter(s) in my name and record it in an old binder.

Its interesting to see months/years later when junk mail arrives, I can track it backwards!
 
I use my dogs names that way they have some nice junk mail to shat on when it shows up. :mrgreen:

Even the stupid Readers Digests come in the name of one of our cats...funny all the "sweepstake winnings" she has earned over the years. :mrgreen:

Marstar is the only one that has my full name period. :roll:
 
Well like I said in my previous post I haven't ordered ANYTHING through the mail, nor have I entered my name in any draws. I've never delt with OFAH, the only way I see my name getting on the list is from the registry. I recently transfered a rifle over to my dad, that's it.
 
File it with the Nigerian scam.

I sent it in once and didn't get a damn thing from them. I think they buy the member list from the BCWF or the Provincial givernemnts and get the names of anyone who bought a hunting license.

Just speculation but I never got one until I bought a BC hunting license.
