Hey CGNers,
I'm testing the waters to see if anyone would be interested in attending an SKS clinic in the GTA.
Cost would only be about $30 for 2 hours. It would be a nice opportunity to get together, meet eachother and learn something about maximizing the potential of these cost-wise semi's.
We would cover:
-feild stripping
-cleaning after shooting corrosive
-reassembly
-bayonet removal
-stock/handguard changes
-bedding the barrel and action
-Trigger improvement (smoothing and going from negative to positive engagement).
-drilling and tapping of receiver for CHOATE mount or similar
It would be a basically a hands on orientation of the rifle with theory on the above improvements.
With the price being right, I thought it could be a good opportunity for some people a little leery of doing things themselves to get some experianced advice.
