Last known manufacture date I can find was the late 70's so she's sat on the shelf for a few minutes.
I got a couple pounds from an older gentleman. I have no particular use for it beyond fertilizer, but it smells viable, and was stored very well.
Far as I can tell it's in the RL22 burn rate area, might have been designed as ww2 50bmg powder? I don't know, just repeating what I read on the internet (always dangerous). Maybe some of you have data for it still, I've yet to dig into the old reloading manuals I acquired.
As part of the same batch I got a few other powders in cool cans and can post some pics later if anyone is interested. The sport is the poorer for not continuing to use the old can styles - damn they look cool.
