Any issues mounting flashlights on bottom rail of a pump?

I'm going to be doing some PULZ camping soon and am equipping my fabarm 14" with a flashlight in case of any late night intruders of the four-legged variety. (I'm leaning toward the Surefire Fury which has both a 15 and 500 lumen setting.)

I picked up a VTAC light mount and will be attaching it to the bottom rail on the forend. Ideally I'd imagine flashlights should be mounted on a static position but that's just not an option, unless I mounted it way back on the left side of the receiver, off of the top rail.

Have you guys had any issues with this setup? Seems not ideal to have a light source in flux while reloading if it comes to that.

I have an Inforce weaponlight on the bottom rail on the fore-end of my Fabarm, and while I agree that I'd rather have it mounted to something more stationary, I've had no problems at all.

This is exactly the setup I ended up going with. Cheers.

Here's mine.
