any loads for the 178 A-max in .308??

Hi all, I'm new here....

I just finished my very first set of reloads for my Savage FP10, 42.6g IMR4895 pushing 175SMKs.

I went back for supplies and I have some 168SMKs as well as a box of the Hornady A-max 178s, but I can't seem to find any specific load data for the Amax.

Any suggestions with the IMR, I wanted to pick up some Reloder15, but they were all out....

does ur manuels have the reciepes for the 178's? if it does use that as a guide line with ur charges for the 178gr a-max...just start off 10% less then the max charge and work it up...also give varget a try i found it is a great powder and i i found it works great with 168gr a-max...using 46.3 gr anyways hope this helped a little
