Any love for the Ruger American Ranch Rifle??

What do you think of the .223/5.56 American Ranch rifle from Ruger? Price is very low (600$ max), have a 16" barrel and have a top rail for scope from factory. Reviews are kinda good but most of the time it's about an out-of-the-box rifle... So do you have one that shooted some ammo? Seem a good buy for a budget target rifle, love the overall length of 36" maybe i could use it for medium game hunting. I know it's not a tikka, remington or savage...

search the threads, theres an ongoing thread discussing the american... theres not too MUCH love.. but some people seem to really like them for a budget rifle. The ranch was just spoken about on a newer thread.
