Can anyone give any recent reviews of the norinco .45 acp ammunition? Wondering about the quality of both the ammunition and the brass for reloading. Does it use large primers?

I have considered getting a case of Wolf TMJ for when I don't have time to reload but the small primer pocket brass would be a pain for future reloads.

Any other options for decent ammunition that uses good quality, large primer pocket brass?

Thanks

Tried it out today in my wife's Charles Daly 1911 and not overly impressed with the stuff. Definitely very dirty, but really no more than reloading with bullseye. Had one primer strike with no shot... tried it again to make sure it wasn't just a light primer strike. I'll pull it when I get the chance.
The next issue is a weird one... full 8 round mags would not feed for whatever reason with the Norc ammo while AE 230 gn rn would? So we were loading 6 rounds without having that problem. I'll have to keep an eye on the mags, try some others and see why this was an issue. Granted my wife doesn't have the best grip but she was struggling with alot of FTE/stovepiping... I'll have to shoot more out of different guns to fully decide my verdict as we only fired 100 rounds today. The one point I give it right now is it is very accurate.

I've got two 1911s to try it in. One is stock but Armco tuned Norinco and the other is fitted out with tight slide, match barrel, etc. If it can provide reliable "service" grade accuracy for when I don't have time to reload then I will be happy. Ending up with decent brass for reloading is also a plus and why I went with this over the Wolf reloads.

I bought 2 cases. I tested on 2 pistols, 250rds on the Desert Eagle 1911 and 250rds on the SpringField XD tactical 45ACP, both with out cleaning, and both guns fired 100%. NOT one missed fired, and its very accurate. When I took the guns apart for cleaning....I can't ready tell if the Norico ammo is dirtier from the rest. Its good stuff and I will pick up few more cases.
I hope this helps.
