After a little less than 3 weeks I have a load of trail cam photos, of Does, only of does......not one buck, I am curious as to why no photos of any Bucks. It makes sense to me that since I am seeing lots of ladies you would see the occasional buck??? But I am also very glad as I got a Doe tag this season.

Don't worry about it. If you have food plots, salt, etc to keep the ladies there, when the rut starts the guys will find there way there.

Big bucks don't get that way by being stupid.
They hang back, if there is the slightest cause for concern. Like your scent around the camera.
They will get less cautious as the rut approaches.

We put out corn and watched, as seven does ate, watched carefully, by eyes we could see glowing in the bush that night. I'm not sure the bucks ever did get any corn. Too close to the building I guess.

Yet during the rut, the day before the opener, I looked out the hunt camp window, to see a seven pointer looking back in. No corn out right then either.

That is a good thing.

Yes, it may suck because you want to know what the bucks in the area look like, but soon they will be trolling for territory and hot does.

Put your cam on a well used trail...and wait.

all good answers...
truth is yer not seeing any bucks because your camera isn't set up where the bucks are traveling...
have a look 20-30 yds downwind (prevailing wind direction) of the doe trail ;)
this assumes of course that you are NOT baiting and are just set up on a well used trail.

The camera can't see the bucks

It's kinda like in the bar right now , the girls are on the dance floor and the guys are just watchin from a distance.Once the guys get a little more courage they will get closer, when the hormones get movin so will they.

Where's the does at?? they will soon be sayin

If you have does there the bucks will come.

Same with me had the cams out about 5 weeks, only does and yearlings,2 moose and a black bear.I'm not to worried though,if the does hang around the bucks will show.

your in prime shape. Better than seeing only bucks and no does. Come the rut all the bucks will bugger off looking for love and you wont have any deer whatsoever. With lots of does around you will be bringing in giants that may have never been in that area before.
