Any one got a Dominion Backpacker review?

if you decide to strip the trigger components down make sure you watch where things go as you disassemble it:redface:

there's a schematic of a rossi single shot action in the locked thread that shows the part placements.

also you will need a slave pin thats the same width or slightly shorter than the thickness of the trigger mech, so that you can assemble the trigger, spring and one other piece before trying to do it while the trigger housing is in the action, which doesn't work so well:redface:

btw, on mine,i had to soak the action and pins with wd40 because they were so tight in the holes that i bent my punch on the first 1:redface:

other than that, this thing comes apart easy enough:)

and hopefully i can get out to the range tomorrow and see how she patterns with some 00buck and slugs

weight is more than you would think based on the overall size, but the barrel is quite thick.

quality is good to decent, definately better than i expected for $150.00

wow that's not too bad my Springfield M6 survival rifle weighs almost 4.5 lbs, anyway.

This might be a pretty good survival gun.
I mean the shells weigh a fair bit, but with it you could legally harvest any game in North America. With a sub-gauge rifle insert in .22lr like you suggested Can-down, this would be great for a long-hiking trip.
