is there any place in canada i can get a recoil spring for a 1911? i need a 16lb spring for a commander.
dlask has some but they want a crazy $17 shipping for them!

can anyone help?

That's strange, I don't remember paying redonkulous shipping for the stuff I ordered from Dlask in the past. Have you called them and asked how much to throw it in a bubble envelope and ship regular parcel?
 
everything need to be tracked nowadays, or the buyer complains it never showed up

even an envelope would need to be registered (+$9), what a scam
