Any opinions on Enfield conversions?

Have one in 7.62x39. No Original was harmed as it was chopped when I got it.

I got an AIA and tried it a few months ago, with factory .308 ammo, with a cheap scope. I did ok at 100 and 200 yards (groups of less than 5 inches at 200 yards), fired about 50 shots that day. So very limited experience but happy at this point.
