Ive picked up this pistol in a few shops and liked the low price and also that it lines up perfectly for me. Ive read a few reviews here and there but on the internet but even dog s##t can be good some of the time. Presume since its IWI its gotta be tough but see a lot of them for sale used right now.
Is there something people really dont like about them or is the maket just flooded now?

My plan for the Pistol is IDPA/3 gun style shooting. I have other ones for target work.

Love mine except for the grips. Find them hard and too slick. Other than that no complaints. Never had any issues of any kind thru the first 1000 or so

I've had mine for four years now with around 30000 rounds through it with no break downs. The only problem I had was early on a hot batch of blaser ammo was knocking the front site out of alignment, I had a local smith punch it back and haven't had a problem since. The other problem is any repair parts have to come from Israel, not the end of the world but takes time.

Its a Tangfolio with IWI stamped on it :p nice gun but i hate the safety location and rail on the new ones.

Biggest down side is they're less holster options compared to a CZ

There's a rental range near me when I started out and over a two month period I rented and shot about a dozen 9mm guns. The Jericho (called the Baby Eagle at that point) was my choice before someone let me try their tuned up Shadow. The CZ was just that little touch better due to the grips and knowing what it could be tuned up to do. But I'm sure I'd have been just about as happy with the Jericho. They are a seriously nice gun. The only downside is the holster issue. But if you're looking at IDPA a generic leather OWB pancake holster can be hot water formed to fit it like the proverbial glove. So it's really not a big deal.

I really liked the cz75 so this pistol really attracted me. I shoot a GP100 so am used to a heavy gun so its a plus.
Like i said a lot of used ones are coming up so was a little curious about what people didnt like.
Now to find one to try out first!

If you get one then you can likely use CZ 75 mags. The two mags are so close to each other that one mag works in both guns and the other is only an issue because the magazine catch doesn't quite snap into the notch of the other. I don't recall which way is which in which gun though. But I'm sure that total compatibility is only a lick of a small file away. The one that didn't latch into place cycled just fine when I held the magazine up into the well and shot the gun.

I use to sell firearms, and when I saw the jericho come in, I first said "what is this?". Then I realized it was made in Israel and thought to myself "Well they have a enemy, enemy, country that will not reconize them as a country, and a country that strongly dislikes them, then water. They dont have a chioce but to make a good firearm." So I bought onefor product knowlege research, put 2000 rounds through it and loved it.
[next part is my opinion on handguns in general. You are allowed to disagree with me :) ]
I try to explain to people how I see handguns, and that most handguns can be placed between three main groups:
"Carries"- light compact consealable hanguns, not always comfortable, but will do the job you need.
"Combats"- heavier (usually to reduce recoil), reliable hanguns but can be carried somewhat compact, and quite comfortable.
"Competitions"- not compact, made to be very comfortable, and extremely low recoil due to weight/compinsators, usually having sight modifications.
Most handguns belong to one or two of these groups, a few do fit in all, but mods to the model may effect where they stand. The Jericho (steel frame) would be a pure "combat". The glock 19 (compact 9mm) more of a "carry". That fuÄşly moded 1911 with red dot sight, extended mag, compensator, huge carved wood grips for maximum comfort, ect. a "competition". That is my quick and dirty about most handguns.

I've a IWI Jericho 941 and its a great pistol. Accurate shooting and easy as pie disassembly. The slide safety doesn't bother me like it does others. I bought the full size non-polymer version as I like heft in my handguns.

As others have noted, there are fewer holster options available for them (incidentally, I have one for sale in the EE if anyone needs one :) ). I don't know if I'd try CZ75 magazines though, I've heard mixed reviews on how well they worked. There is at least one site sponsor that sells OEM IWI Jericho magazines (SFRC for sure, where I bought mine) and I've had no problems with them.

I have the full size metal frame.

Trigger is great, quality of manufacturing is visible. No rattle. Great weight balance in my hand, feels real.

I value it as 3rd place in my safe in "unlikely to ever sell category", after Ruger SR1911, SIG P226, then comes the Jericho

I have 2 full size metal frames,,, both as accurate as my cz shadows and tanfoglios,,,, ad for a holster I had Dean from Select Shooting Suplies in Cambridge order me one from Blade tech when he did his order and it fits and works great. I am planning to use one of Jerichos is my next IPSC match with the blade tech holster, I have no regrets in owning 2 of them.

Metal Framed Jericho 941 model: Awesome pistol, and possibly the best value for money you may ever enjoy in firearm purchases.

High quality, well designed, excellently manufactured, battle proven and so reliable. Yes I am fan. I love the CZ75 platform, and I am very tempted to expand the collection further.

The metal frame versions are awesome, I have a CZ75TS and a Sphinx SDP (all based on the same chassis) and yet still the Baby Eagle comes out to the range and gets more rounds down the pipe. Why is that? Because it is a great pistol. Good balance, ergonomics (even with the safety on the slide) and is so solid!

Buy one or more, I would like a chrome / polished stainless version in 9mm. One of my dream purchases!

I have a full-size metal frame 9mm in the burnt bronze cerakote colour. It is an excellent gun for the price and i plan on getting a 40 S&W variant soon. My thoughts:
- The stock grips suck, they are flimsy and too smooth.
- The slide stop is quite a reach, which may annoy some people.
- The trigger is better than most other guns in its price range.
- The range kit comes with holster, 3 mags and mag pouch.
- My Shadow 2 mags work fine in it, but the Jericho mags won't hold open the Shadow 2 slide every time.
- Mine has about 3500 rds through it with very minimal wear.
- Mine has not malfunctioned EVER.
- It is quite accurate but not quite as much so as my Shadow 2.
- It isn't the least bit picky about ammo.

Great observations, and also about 50% the cost of a new CZ Shadow 2..............

One detail to add about the Jericho : "The barrel of the CZ-75 is traditionally rifled, while the Jericho 941 features a polygonal barrel, furthermore the Jericho 941 is substantially heavier"

here's a pic to see the difference (Conventional eight groove rifling on the left, and octagonal polygonal rifling on the right.) :

Best trigger out of the box. Low recoil specially with 9mm because of the heavy frame. Magazine is easy to find as it takes same mag as CZ 75/85 and Tanfos. The not so good feature is the finish. Unless you can find the hard chromed version, finish easily scratches when holstered. Holster can also be a problem. Not sure with the rest of parts. Overall, I think this pistol has been overlooked by a lot which might be the reason why it costs reasonably compared to the its CZ 75 and Tanfo siblings.

current range kits on sale go with holster and mags hoster, and yeah, I can also confirm - I have never seen such single action trigger - smooth short travel, crisp break. The reset is also very short.

Not sure if Bladetech makes an IDPA/IPSC Prod div compliant holsters for Jericho. CR Speed Holster might be compatible due to adjustability and multiple platform compatibility. I know Fobus makes one but not sure with the rest.
