hey guys, just want to put the feelers out there for more 3 gun groups. I have run with WRAS 3 times and they do an AWESOME job, seriously so creative and fun, not to mention inexpensive, great group of guys and organizers, great gun club, I could go on and on about how awesome wild rose is buttttt

they got me hooked on 3 gun, and I want to see who else in alberta is consistently putting on safe and fun 3 gun matches so I can get even more fun in.

Both Lethbridge and Medicine Hat put on one or two a year. i have also heard rumours of a match or two happening in Rocky Mountain House.

CHAS has their "Tri Gun League" which is a bit of a different flavor that your typical 3 Gun orgs.

Body armor is mandatory and the courses are unveiled the morning of "Bring enough to win" is the mantra.

The last 3 gun was sort of a 4 gun in which there was a precision segment.

Walter is correct about Rocky. At the Rocky Rod & Gun Club, our group is Defensive Pistol. It is loosely based around IDPA, but have some IPSC shooters, as well as "just for fun"-ers. We are getting more and more into 3 Gun as a group. We have regularly scheduled fun shoots throughout the year and we hosted our first ever real match this summer in August. We had around 20 shooters come out and I think everyone had a great time.
