I picked up a sweet little outlaw off the EE today. The forearm was a little loose so I added and shim and now its solid. Other then that its a very cool looking toy. Just wondering if anyone out there has put there Outlaw through its paces, hows the durability? Are they're anymore issues I should watch out or correct other then the forearm? Thanks all.

I experinced the same thing with mine and I just put a couple of layers of electrical tape under it and it's tight now. Someone who wanted to spend the time could put washers under it or something to that effect.

The main reason I sold mine is that the barrels shoot way too high and the left one throws to the left. The patterns are tight but they are just badly regulated.
Nothing you can do about that though. Except maybe add a pedestal under the front sight. Maybe like the ones remington brazes on the shorter barreled police shotguns.

Also the wood is real soft so be careful about denting it.

I've put a few hundred rounds through mine as well as about 50 slugs. Mine shoots about 12 inches high at 20 yds. Saying that, it's a hoot. It's one of my favorites at the range. When I come home I just tighten everything back up that has started to loosen.
I think most people buy these more for the novelty and accept the quirks as I have.

I have shot over 500 rounds through my Outlaw without a hitch. It's a blast to shoot that little gun. Mine seems to pattern just fine.

A couple of weeks ago a small shoulder screw fell out of the mechanism. Sounded like a little marble rolling around in there. I posted a previous post on how I fixed it... it was very simple. I just took the gun apart, applied some guntite to the screw, and now I'm back shooting again.

I don't think you have anything to worry about in regards to durability. As long as you keep 'listening' to your gun, and inspect it after every outing (just like any gun) you'll have a ton of safe fun.
