Any ranges not allowing 9mm aluminum cased in BC?

Hoping to pick up some aluminum cased 9mm for cheap use in a Glock. I've already read it's a poor choice for my specific 9mm AR in which I'll only use brass.

Do any ranges in BC not permit aluminum 9mm? DVC in Coquitlam, Poco outdoor, Abbotsford, Langley? I've gone through all their rules but sometimes they have unwritten rules.

Abbotsford specifically writes no steel cased allowed on Range 5 (steel targets), I assume because steel cased often has steel core copper washed bullets.

Thanks

Some ranges ban aluminum case because they collect all the brass for reloading and it's time consuming to sort out the aluminum ones.
Our club, Semiahmoo F&G, recycles the brass left behind, so if you shoot aluminum, you are responsible for picking it up and tossing it. I’m tired of cleaning up after people. :)

I guess you don't have any SKS shooters who think it is their right to litter ranges with their steel cases.

Why would there be a rule against aluminum cases? Just beware, they’re garbage and will likely suck in just about anything.

I've got nearly a thousand rds. of Federal aluminum cased 9mm in my Glock 17 and 48 with no problems, although I find it a lighter load.

are 9mm alu. that bad? I was told they dont dissipate heat as good as brass. They are a tad cheaper than brass but not that much...I thought of trying a few rounds in my MP9 2.0 but I'll check with the range..

If you look for the deals, savings aren't great enough to bother with aluminum cased ammo.
I got a great deal on Federal aluminum cased at Tenda one week, and the next week they had great savings on brass cased S&B 9 mm.

I've found the savings can be significant. Right now Tenda has 2000rnds of Federal 115gr aluminum cased for $380 with free shipping. Cheapest I've found brass cased on sale is Blazer 124gr $220/1000.

No aluminum case at abby range 5. Poco /tmsa dont care. Never been to dvc with my own ammo.

No steel cased or steel core ammo on Range 5, aluminum is fine. We recycle all left behind brass, and that includes aluminum. The company that buys it doesn't care, they pay us by the pound.
That said, if you bring it to S&D you will be advised to not bring it next time. Most of the guys reload and we hate sorting it out of the pile at the end of the night. But other than that, it's a non issue.

Some guns don’t run aluminum ... like the sub2k for example. Some guns run on anything.
