Any re-loaders interested in water damaged 45ACP re-loaded rounds to dismantle?

I had some 45ACP reloads given to me, and then I had a house fire and they got water damaged. I no longer have a 45 ACP gun.

At the least the cases should be usable, maybe some of the bullets as well, I'm guessing about 150 rounds. There are also 10 rounds of American Eagle FMJ rounds in the mix, and 20 x 9mm Winchester White box, 4 x 20g shells, and a few hundred mixed brand 22LR.

These are all free to anyone who wants to disassemble and use what ever components are usable. Pick-up only in Haldimand County.

The lead is worth stripping out

I was thinking the same but don't reload or cast, so it's not worth anything to me.

are the primers toast not worth reloading?

I would assume most are still good, only about 1/4 of the 45ACP were under water for a few days. Most were barely wet. The 20g, 9mm, and 22LR were wet a little longer, maybe 10-15 days.

Good deal just for the .45 & 9mm brass and projectiles, both would clean up in the tumbler. Primers might be salvageable for plinking.

Pull all the .22 bullets and 20g shot and add it to the smelt pile, hopefully someone can grab it off you.

A friend at Rocky Mountain House had a basement flood that left his boxes of primers soaking for a few days,
Once they dried, he loaded them and they worked OK.
