Any Regulation When Adding a Stock to a Pistol

Like does it ever become non-restricted?

Haha fun way to take a Beretta with a weird stock on it out into the woods legally?

I wasn't so much concerned about reverting status, but with Canadian laws you can never be too careful. Didn't think it would be any different than a Roni, but you can never be too careful here. Thanks as always.

No longer. You used to be able to reclassify a handgun to a non-restricted in certain circumstances but that hasn't been allowed for years now. The examples I know of were all Remington XP-100 bolt action pistols that were re-verified as rifles by adding a long barrel and a full stock. Now the RCMP have declared once a restricted, always a restricted.
