I shoot one, use it for geese. I shoot hand loads 1 3\8 #2 steel shot. I have used the Browning and the SP-10. I found the Browning a little fussy cycling hand loads while the SP-10 is almost flawless. It is simple to disassemble and clean. I really don't have any dislikes with the SP-10.
I had one for years during the lead days and loved it. Sold it in 93 and bought a new browning gold
Have since bought another ( skhunters old one ) and that one goes to the grave with me
Never an issue and loves to shoot even dirty which the browning don't
It is a goose gun and like sk I roll my own
There is only one powder imo STEEL from hummason
Rsi loads in federal or remington hulls
Steel shot I get from Wsports , precision reloading or will B ballastic products in the US and sam1 wads from wsports
I stock up on steel reloading components when I find them since they are not easy to get in canada
Cheers
Loaders are a mec 10ga JR and a mec 10ga steel master
skhunter and 3macs1, have you guys tried anything other than Sam1 wads in your 10's.
I was wondering if Ballistic products or Precision Reloading steel wads would work well also.
I have only ever tried factory loads in mine, I want to try some reloads for big pellet loads
for pass shooting geese.

Any of you guys tried any aftermarket chokes for waterfowl.
On a side note I lucked out and bought a used slug barrel for my SP10,
I was surprised to find out that they have screw in chokes just like the regular barrel,
now I am shopping for some slugs but they are hard to find so far.
When it's mounted it reminds me of the old Ithaca Roadblocker.
