any?repair service in canada for scope/binos

recently inherited an old fisher-dietz 7x50 binoculars,with leather case, they are both mint outside but it suffer from double vision problem?
anyone know of a good firm /shop who repairs scopes / binoculars in atlantic canada or anywhere in canada an address /name or email is helpful just pm me.........
or for the experts is my fisher dietz binocular WORTH a repair or just junk either way?

Double vision? I think that is what I had on some used Bushnells, and it was what's called collimation that had gone wrong. Bushnell fixed mine under warranty, which is no good to you except to suggest that such things can be fixed. I can't tell you if it's worth it, but try looking for Fisher-Dietz on E-bay to get a feel for whether it is much valued as a name.

Perhaps Harvey Trace, who has often been mentioned here for scope repairs, could look at it. I don't have the contact details, but he used to be in a small town in Alberta. I think it was called New Norway, and I think I heard the contact is now through a Calgary address. Perhaps a search of the forum will turn up the threads with the information, if no one pipes up with it.
