I know I can do this in the machine shop If I had to, but I'd rather not. Does anyone know of a gunsmith that can or has rebarreled an AG42b?
I have a rifle in excellent shape except for the fact it has a non matching barrel that is almost shot out.
I picked up a brand new/unissued barrel for a song. I'd like to have it assembled on my rifle. I can disassemble the other components and take the old one off my reciever. I just want the new one fitted, indexed properly to the reciever and headspaced for my bolt.
