This company makes some neat 22 m16 and 22 ak47 type of rifles. They look like fun little guns. Any sponsor carrying them.If not maybe someone should look into them.

The AK version is prohibited......don't ask.
The M16 one just plain sucks ass. All based on the same Squires Bingham 40 year old garbage jamomatic design.
Look through some of the threads here for the Nordic stock kit for 10/22. :)

Hmm well ruger or some big company should make some of these .So the ak is prohibited thats really weird and 22 caliber too? Man our government has some retarded rules.

Oh well just continue to make my ruger 22 a cool little assualt rifle wannabe.

Armscor's AK47 look-alike is pretty cool looking, but their M16 is butt fugly.

I think my Armi Jager AP15 is a much better M16 copy...my Nordic AR-22, better still. :D

Sounds like someone hasn't seen the Krinker Plinker yet.

The SB rifles are available still but not new. They are non-restricted so long as it is not the AK version. The Armi Jager ones are restricted. I've never had either of mine jam but some people want a lot of money for them.

I owned an one of their m16 versions for about a week....thing was a peice of garbage...looked cool tho

I had one of the M1600's but the retractable versions as shown above and it sucked big time. Had it for a month and sold it for $100. I was lucky to get that for it.

After you've been talked out of these rifles you'll probably start looking for the AP74's made by Jaeger. They're also M16 look a likes. Restricted as well. They looked really close to the AR15 and mine was accurate as all get out but they too were crap and continually broke down and I mean all of the time. I actually bought an extra one just for parts.

Go and buy a real AR15 and put a .22 upper on it as I eventually did. Had I done that in the first place, I would have saved a load of cash and aggravation. Now I have a very cool looking rifle as well as dependable and very accurate.

The cheapest and most problem free route is doing a 10/22 conversion with one of the kits on the market like Nordic, Evo, Krinker and a new Canadian one available through Fab Sports. They all make nice looking rifles and the 10/22 itself can be highly modified for accuracy. The AR-22 works if you have deep pockets and don't mind that they're restricted. The 10/22 is definatley (well maybe not:p) the less costly way.
