Any suggestions for first 1911 pistol?

Most likely slow range fire as this is my first handgun. I doubt I will get into practical/action shooting until I have some experience. Also since my last post I put through the order for the government model. I figuared I could use the extra bit of weight to reduce felt recoil and muzzle rise.

I'd talk to Questar or Prophet river, I'm sure other would bring it in too. If you know what you want, it's worth waiting for. You might pay a bit more though, having it imported. Again, it depends what it's worth to you. If you're patient and a bit lucky, you could just haunt the EE and wait for one to pop up, they do sometimes.
