Any suggestions on how to clean the SVT40 muzzle brake?

I have a light layer of rust forming on inside of the muzzle brake from corrosive ammo. As much as I try to get in there with a patch and a screwdriver, I can't seem to get a satisfactory full clean. Any tips on cleaning it?
 
Bore brush and a cordless drill.

Will clean the shiiiiiiiiiiiiit out of it!

Bristles are copper and fit in the muzzle brake nicely, I've done it on mine a bunch before selling it.
