Hi guys,

I have been searching for a conversion kit for the Ruger 10/22 to Saw M249, i found one supplier down in the states. Got the okay from the firearms centre saying that this is not a prohibited device and its good to go for import, however sadly i'm not sure the supplier is still in business (no answers on the phone, refunded my order..etc)

So this leads me to my next step, looking for a gun smith or amateur with a dremmel, willing to help convert an the metal chassis of M249 airsoft gun to hold the 10/22 rifle, i would be providing the airsoft gun, as well as paying you for your time, so if you know anyone in the Toronto area willing to help me out? if so please shoot me a PM or a Quote

here's an example of such a kit:

Sadly there is only one supplier and they don’t seem to be in business, hope someone can prove me wrong though! As I already paid an importer

Yeah procarbon supply was were I placed my order, all seemed good to go, but they refunded my money and didn’t answer replies or emails, thanks for the tip! I’ll definitely ask around at rim fire central

Could it be that procarbon supply saw that your in Canada and can`t / won`t bother dealing with Canadians. Also I was at procarbon`s website and the conversion kit specs it cycles at 750rpm. From my understanding, that`s Not a semi auto unit? Maybe I`m wrong??? Hope so. I think they just don`t want to deal with Canadians.

Well I was able to speak with the owner before placing the order and told him that I am in fact Canadian, and as a result I would need it shipped without any sort of trigger system, he said it was no problem as it was a seperate product anyways, said he could ship just the chassis, as well he would be happy to ship it to an exporter as he doesn’t directly ship to Canada, too many issues with customs. Hence me paying an exporter. Then sadly I didn’t hear back once I placed the order.
