Any TubeGun users ?

Hi folks. I'm considering building something in the precision rifle area and was kind of intrigued by the Tubegun system, specifically the Mak Enterprises units.

I wonder if anyone on here has built or used one of these, or what folks think of them; pros and cons versus a conventional stock system, and any other concerns.

I have one built on the MAK chassis. I used a brand new SPS Varmint in 308. I worked up the best load for the SPS before mounting it in the MAK chassis. A 168 Berger VLD Hunting with Varget powder was an honest 5 rounds in .7 inch. After mounting in the MAK i could do 5 rounds at 100 in .4 and have had the occasional ragged hole.I dialed in a load to work with the Leupold B+C reticule. I used the AR-2 buttstock and cut back the spring on the buffer as a moving soft bolt stop.
Would I build one again you bet, the only problem is it shoots small groups with boring regularity.
