Hi Wolverine,

Do you have any sort of update to share concerning the arrival in Canada of the long-awaited FightLite MCR Upper Receivers? It has been a long time coming..... before Xmas would certainly be nice!

Good morning Mark
We are on this constantly, you are not the only customer waiting, the hold up is with the US authorities. We are waiting for them to issue the export licence, we have no idea on the time this will take, it is long overdue, hence I can not give you an ETA at this time.

Thanks for that, as disappointing as it may be. I mistakenly thought that perhaps there had been some movement based on you guys running that full-page ad for the uppers and parts in the Dec issue of Canadian Access. Sorry to hear that is not yet the case.
 
The MCR upper receivers fit a restricted AR lower, so the complete firearm is restricted. However, the upper receiver alone is just an unregulated "part" in Canada. The upper receiver has no classification and can therefore be purchased by anyone, even without a firearms license.

The complete Fightlite MCR rifles are restricted in Canada, just like any other semi-automatic AR.
