Not yet. Still waiting for Tactical Imports version to make it through.
SBR is a US term. It doesn't apply here. Welding a flashhider on doesn't work here either. The barrel needs to be 18.5 inches or longer.
Plenty of threads already. And as Tactical Imports has requested, best to keep chatter down on a public forum and just wait for the approval or prohibition.
It's been mentioned somewhere else before by one of the board sponsors but the expected turnaround rate for the firearms lab is at least 18 months to get an FRT issued. I think TI had a little more information on it in their dealer forum, but I'm relatively certain it would still be at least another year before the lab gets finished.
yeah as mentioned, the "rifled" portion of the barrel needs to be longer than 18.5" for non restricted status. The flash higher is not threaded therfor doesnt count in regards to barrel length.
18 months is a laugh as we have been waiting for the GSG STG44 for over 2 years now with out anything in sight so far. This will in doubt be a VERY long wait.
