Any use sorting brass for Ruger.44 carbine?

Hello fellow CGN ers. So I have a bunch of once shot .44 Rem Mag casings and was wondering if its worth the time and trouble to sort it before use or just lump it all together?. I know this rifle isn't a tack driving 100 yd shooter but was curious if rim thickness etc made a difference or not. Thanks

It's pretty much a waste of time. The brass sorting crowd & the single head stamp crowd will try to explain otherwise, but in my experience reloading hundreds of thousands of pistol rounds, how you use the finished cartridge is more important.

Yep, waste of time sorting pistol cartridges. Clean, reload, shoot, repeat. Then repeat again. Then a few more times until case cracks, if ever.

Either that or sell it to me for cheap!

If you were reloading for handgun silhouette shooting then I could see sorting your brass being of some use. I can't imagine it would make a noticeable difference for plinking with a 44 carbine though.

Thanks guys appreciate the advice. Now to find away to keep the h-110 from sticking to the funnel and the scale pan and things will be good. Sorry Vinny this one is on the never/never list. And I haven't even shot it yet

Wipe them with a clothes dryer sheet------you may have to do this a couple of times. It will get rid of the static.
