Savage built this gun and it's variants as a entry level shotgun. Decent enough gun but no real value over 200.00. As with any guns of this class the twenty's and fourtens have more value because they have light gun appeal and fewer were made and sold. I have worked on a few and they have some very lightly built internal parts, small 1 coil springs and a pot metal trigger guard and top safety affair that contributed to broken butt stocks in my opinion.
