anyboby have one of these?

Bsa

Have seen exactly one I can recall recently. My gunsmith used it to copy the stock for a .300 H&H I had him build on a 1917 Enfield barrel/action. I have owned and seen P14's converted by BSA using cutdown military stocks, some nicely checkered.

You have two choices - hoping to find a well-preserved gentleman's rifle in a land where tens of thousands of military surplus Pattern '14 rifles were used and abused; or look for a Remington Model 30. Same thing, only commercial and made for a lot longer. They were made from the 1920's into the early part of WWII to use up surplus WWI production parts.

It'll likely be easier to find a bubba'd P-14 than a military configuration in decent condition. Not as likely to find one with nice wood like that one. Try looking at gun shows, but be prepared to pay. That stock is likely worth more than the rifle.
