Anybody been hunting Delta Marsh yet?

I understand it was essentially destroyed last fall. Has anybody been duck hunting there yet this fall? Were you able to find cover and use decoys, or is it just pass shooting? Are there even ducks around?

Went out there on the weekend. I cannot believe the destruction and water EVERYWHERE. Roads flooded, shacks destroyed, whole sections of marsh ripped away. Unbelievably sad.

Is there another good area to go in Manitoba.
Is Grants Lake Management Area good spot or is it to busy with hunters?

I haven't been to Grant's Lake for over 10 years, can't say.

The 3 Shoal Lakes have all merged into one big lake, also haven't been there this year to assess.

There are still birds at Delta, it's just that you'll probably have to entirely change the way you hunt now from what you're used to. My recommendation - bring a canoe (no motors on Delta).
