Hey guys, I know this is a strange request but I've been going to EESA for the past few days with a few friends working on my Savage to get it zero'd in @ 100 properly.
We have shot fairly close groups(2-3) rounds within a 2 inch area and such but I still think I may be doing it wrong and maybe something is not properly setup or my shooting stance is off.
I have a bi-pod setup on the Savage and I know I'm supposed to push into the rifle as I'm gently squeezing the trigger.
So my question is, does anybody here go to EESA that maybe wouldn't mind giving me a few ideas how to improve my shooting and re-check my rifle zeroing.
I'm more of a 'hands-on' person so some of these online articles can get really confusing lol
The rifle is a Savage 10FP, .308 with a 24" barrel
-Bi-pod
-Bushnell Elite 3200 5-15X40 tactical
-Leopold rings/bases
I've been using Federal Soft point 150 grain rounds so far, tried a 180 and the kick was a bit more then I wanted for my bigger feel
If anybody is up for this, I'll pay whats needed to get some 'mentoring'
Thank You
bart
