A related question, and not considered a hijack, I hope:

Where can you get 26.5 mm European flares or a 12 guage insert adapter?

I have an aluminum Walther-type (as described on Marstar's site).

Neat piece......But I have no idea what size flares, at if they are obtainable anymore....

There is a place here in Burnside that sells the odd metric flares and guns. Let me get it for u.

keepshootingdotcom is a US supplier, so the reducers are by law only capable of chambering the short 12 gauge flares. Check out the BATFE website for more info on that. I'd hate to be the poor bastard what was selling them. Talk about negative attention!

I think the guy at collectorssource had one of them for sale. You also might want to try joesalterdotcom

Interesting, the HK flare pistol is basically the same as the Geco. I would reccommend one of those over the gigantic 37mm. joesalterdotcom had some lake erie gas guns. I don't think you could get one of those across the border. Correct me if I'm wrong. That would be the best one to get of all the cheapo aluminum 37mm launchers. Can't find a use for one anyways.

I must confess I've never called these people in Burnside.

When I was a kid in Ecorse, Michigan, the kid accross the street had one like this. His uncle brought it back from WWII as a trophy. I always thought this one was neat and it was of high quality. Regards, Richard :D

Why not subscribe to Canadian access to firearms? all sorts of stuff like that in there. Are you talking about those big 37 mm hunks of aluminum? MAK enterprises, 27 Dun Avenue, St. Andrews, NB, E5B 3V4 phone number: (506) 529-8771. AR type: 395.00 plus shipping, folding stock: $425 plus shipping.

Oh, sorry, I'd put out a wanted ad for one of them. Good luck.

I don't know where you can get the one your looking for, but I can tell you where to get one of these for $99

I can also tell you where to get the 12Gauge insert for it. Private message me for details, if your interested.

I see there was one insert that used .38 special. Do you suppose they used +p+ loads? That's a very good question. I thought they hinted they used 12 Gauge loads to blow them up. I thought those Olins were just pot metal or some kind of magnesium alloy, weren't they? I handled one of the 25mm ones, the trigger would break if you farted too loud. And that was supposed to be a safety device?
