Anybody got one of these?

.22 cal with #9 shot would be pretty useless if you ask me....unless you are dispatching field mice.....I wouldn't waste money on that....I'ld buy a real shotgun.....
Muchly agreed, if you are looking for a small bore shotgun, pick up a nice .410. There are many beautiful .410 chambered shotguns on the market. I'v used .22 shotshells in my ruger before, and to say at best they are quite non lethal and rather useless on anything bigger then tiny rodents. I call them "shrew shells" :p .

That's true......not realy effective. Once shot at snipes, twice, from a distance of perhaps less than 10 feet and still missed.....perhaps it was just me

I have read where the little .22 shotshells that most of us feel are useless are not so bad in the unrifled .22 rimfire shotguns that used to be available. The rifling present in most .22's blows the pattern all to heck. If the patterns in this air shotgun are similar to the unrifled .22's it might be a good rat or pidgeon gun in warehouses, where you don't want noise or holes in your roof. But the price seems high to be the first one on the block to have one , unless it is you and it does what you need it to do. Good luck.

Most of those .22 shotshells come with #10 or #12 shot in them not number #9's, none that I've seen anyway and there's a big difference between #9's and #10 shot. My Grandfather had an old Cooey (if I'm not mistaken) that was called a carnival gun. It was a .22 lr smooth bore. Useing those #10 .22 shotshells I used to shoot quite a few blackbirds and sparrows out of the barn when I was a kid. You'd be really surpised what they can do in the right gun. There was even the odd Cottontail that fell to them. I think that air shot gun might be something neet to play arund with and has probably more potential then most of us would think. But like already mentioned if your looking for a real hunting gun get a real shotgun.

Seems nice to me, it also can fire .22 pellets at 850FPS + the shotshell cmon thats sweet. Would be nice for a youngster wanting to shoot.
