Anybody have info on BACKWOODS rifle scopes?

OK I did a swap here and the rifle came with a 3-9 x 40 AO scope marked "BACKWOODS OPTICS" AND "model: AOS4"

Wondering if anybody has heard of these scopes? It looks for all the world like an older Bushnell, so I am guessing it is a Chinese rip-off er I mean copy of a Bushnell?

Any help would be appreciated.
