Anybody hunting a CTR?

How is it a specialized rifle. A lot of people use heavy barrels when hunting and the rifle its self is not bad to walk around with. I hunted with an m14 clone in an aluminum stock for years. My ctr is a featherweight compared to it.

Does kinda seem more of a blend of a lot of things than a specialized rifle to me too.

A 26" heavy barrel in a fatter stock is specialized. So is a superlight or mountain rifle.

The CTR seems like a middle ground between a lot of things, for better or worse depending on one's view.
