Does anybody have any information about the new 6.5x55 chamberings from Howa. I have not followed their products before at all. I noticed that this is listed as new on their web site. But don't know how new or if any are out there yet. Even the information on their web site isn't complete, so I guess it may well be that nobody knows much yet. I myself know nearly nothing about Howa's, except by reputation - i'm interested in this chambering because my next rifle purchase is likely to be in this class of cartridge.
Nonetheless, does anybody know what length action it is in? I understand that this cartridge nomally is just barely too long for short actions, but they list the overall length of this gun as the same as their guns for short cartridges.
