Hey guys,

My father just gave me his Marlin Model 70 .22lr It's got a detachable mag. I've been looking everywhere for information on it and cant find any information on it. I seems to shoot great. Does anyone have any thoughts on this model?

Other than it was produced between 1966 and 1982. The info is very limited. They sell in USA for $150 or less but I imagine they should work great if Marlin quality is there. my 1940 marlin 81 bolt operates fantastic.

Got one for free. It had a broken stock. Bought a synthetic for $40 and a red dot for $40. It's pretty accurate for a crappy tasco red dot and a semi-auto. Very reliable with any ammo.

Got a Marlin Glenfield 70. Looks like a magazine fed version of the 60.

Reliable as far as function is concerned, have not had FTFs or FTEs.

No scope on mine so cannot vouch for accuracy but it is better than the 10/22 I sold.
