Anybody made some subsonic 5.56?

Has anybody here loaded some sub-sonic 5.56mm ammo? I was wondering about some heavier 85gr ish bullets. Can it be done? Will it cycle the action?

Anybody have ANY experience?

Ive loaded 40 gr. bullets over 5 grains of Bluedot for 1400 fps

if I used a 55-60 gr. bullet I think it'd be around 1000 fps or so

Tried to get the action to cycle but the result was not subsonic. Subs were poor in the accuracy department. Did the same test in the bolt action model.
Similar results. Accuracy slightly better but good accuracy happens beyond subsonic. Oh well it was fun to try.
