Anybody out there know anything about an Erma LA22 pistol

Hi
I have a chance to buy an Erma LA22 pistol cheap.

The problem is the front sight is missing. It goes in a dovetail and that appears OK.

I don't know a thing about these guns. Can anyone there tell me anything about them?

Any and all help on this would be much appreciated.

I had one in the late 80`s. It was fairly accurate but a bit picky on ammo brands. I always suspected it was the lips on the mag.
