Anybody own a Vortex Spitfire 3x?

Hey guys! Just wondering if anybody knows if theres a riser that can be removed on the vortex spitfire 3x that will allow it to be mounted lower? I want to try it on my T97 and vz58. Probably try it standard height on my JR. carbine and AR too.

The piece between the mount and the optic with the holes in it looks like a riser. Just wondering if it can be removed and mounted without it? Can't seem to find anything about it on google or vortex site. Maybe somebody that owns one might know. I'm very interested in getting one of these to try. They're still pretty rare on the EE tho....

yes..i have the 1x on my beretta cx4.
i removed the bottom riser so that it would sit lower...great optic

I have the 3x on my Tavor and it's a great little optic, and for the price it's awesome. I haven't looked at mine, but I believe it can be removed.

I've shot a few, and AR with a 3x and a Tavor with a 3x. They're neat little optics, a nice affordable alternative to an ACOG.
