Anybody seen a top turret like this one?

I have a 2-7 vari-x II that came with a rifle and ive never seen this before.
The windage turret is normal with a cover cap and dial underneath but the elevation turret seems like it is missing something.
I sent Leupold a message just now but I thought Id ask you guys here.

Looks like it could be some variation of Stoney point or similar conversion with the knob missing. The bottom collar should un-screw from the scope leaving the cap threads and coin slot adjustment.

It looks like the top is missing on that turret.

It looks like the previous owner might have had either a Stoney point target knob or a Kenton aftermarket turret cap on it at one time.

Yup, just unscrew it from the adjuster and you'll find the normal slot as per /|\

Leupold has a similar item being their S1 system. Isn't the best answer.
